Each hand-carved "Shona Stone" Sculpture is unique, with different colors and grain patterns running throughout. Some themes are repeated, but no two works are identical.

Shona Stone is a blanket term used to describe a variety of stones, dug mostly by hand, in Zimbabwe. Serpentine is the most predominant with many varieties. We attempted to attribute the correct type of stones to individual sculptures, but we are still learning. If the exact variety is important to you, then you must verify it for yourself.  As we unpacked these treasures, many were found wrapped in African newspapers dated back to 2005. Any price stickers in photos represent wholesale pricing from 2005 on up.  This collection was in storage for at least a couple of years before the current owner acquired it in 2016 and stored again until now.....
